Chantelle Dinkel is a Swiss/Canadian classically trained oil painter, who graduated from the Florence Academy of Art in 2008 after 4 years of training in figurative drawing and oil painting. Her paintings have been shown in Europe and her works can be found in private collections across the world.

Having lived in Canada, Switzerland and Italy, she is currently painting and traveling across Europe visiting galleries and museums seeing what inspired many great artist.

Being born into an artistically inclined family, Chantelle has been receiving training, encouragement and critiques throughout her entire life.

Her art also is not limited to two dimensional works. She has worked in mediums of clay and wood. She was also trained by world champion food sculptors and worked in the 5-star Suvretta Hotel of St. Moritz, Switzerland, where she professionally created edible works of art out of butter, melon, ice, and more.

Chantelle is also active in various Viking reenactment societies across Europe and North America, tailoring and embroidering her own clothing. Most days you will find her dressed in vintage and antique clothings dating back to the Victorian age, which has inspired many of her teachers, friends and other artists to use her as a model for their paintings and sculptures.

In the Summer of 2009, Chantelle plans to study with Odd Nerdrum of Norway, where she hopes to expand her skills and knowlage as a painter from this great artist.
